About Sitter:
I’m a writer and artist. I’ve recently moved to Tassie to complete writing my first novel while waiting for other screenwriting projects to be funded, and challenge myself living away from the comforts of my old home in the Northern Rivers, NSW. I suppose I would describe myself in the same way that I’d like to be remembered in conversation —resilient, patient, and capable. I’m a quiet and simple person, often preferring burying my nose in a book, or drawing. Before leaving I build a bookshelf into my car so that I may travel with my favourite authors; the little pieces of me that have helped with any growing pains that arise.
So far, I’ve been camping along the east coast and have met wonderful people there but am looking to do more house sitting, as I did back home. I understand animals more than I do humans, and find comfort in their presence —I also ride if you need a horse taken for a stretch. I’m happy to be your house sitter for the period of time you’re needing, moving from place to place helps the creativity flow and spark inspiration.
