I’m a retired Australian veteran 62 yrs old currently travelling Tasmania in my motorhome at a steady pace. I value routine, responsibility and looking after what’s entrusted to me — whether that’s property, pets or privacy.
I’m practical, self-sufficient and tidy. Years in the Army taught me to respect other people’s homes and to leave places better than I found them. I don’t party, I don’t bring drama, and I keep a low profile. Quiet evenings, reading, walking, exploring the local area — that’s my speed.
I’m comfortable maintaining gardens, lawns, basic property upkeep and I’m confident with tools. If something minor needs attention, I’ll handle it. If something bigger comes up, you’ll know immediately.
I genuinely enjoy animals and understand that routines matter to them. Walks, feeding schedules, medication if required — I stick to instructions and communicate clearly.
Because I’m travelling full-time, I’m flexible and reliable with dates. I also understand the peace of mind homeowners want while they’re away. You’ll get regular updates and photos if that helps.
I have done unit sitting before in Penrith NSW for approx. 3 weeks with no issues. Thevowners did make comment that ‘the unit was so clean and nice to come home to, you are best house sitter. You are always welcome to stay’.
In short: dependable, respectful, practical, and calm. Your home will be looked after properly.
