Hello! I'm Garrett, a 29 year old American traveler in Tasmania, seeking housesitting as as a means of support while on a working holiday visa. From ranging experiences from outdoor adventures to quiet rest, connection and community to secluded solitude, food and drink to living mindfully, I'm journeying slowly, all within the name of creating a life well lived. In 6 months of living in Tassie, I've worked in vineyards, lived in the Huon Valley and Latrobe, embraced the seasons change, and have begun to witness the beauty, simplicity, and challenges of this heart-shaped island state.
Health, rest, connection, and safety are my focuses. Being tidy and conscious of my actions is a strong part of that.
